Merry Christmas, Mom

A Christmas ornament my mother cross-stitched twenty-five years ago. This hung on our family's tree for years and years and now, I'm proud to have it hang on mine.

Nope this is the only one she made. Tim and Cindy have the ones she made for the kids, but this is the only one I've got.

My Purpose

I was inspired by a friend of mine who blogged using photographs instead of just words to give her readers a glimpse into her life. I thought it was a clever way of combining my passions: writing and photography.

Thus, a blog was born.

While ideally, I'd like to post daily, real life gets in the way and I can't. But there are some days when I post several, so subscribe, if you'd like. I invite input, too.

I'm anxious to see where this takes me and what I end up with. I have high hopes. Tell me what you think!
